  4. Students are encouraged to apply through email & SMS since it is the fastest mode of communication.
  5. Applicants are encouraged to have email addresses since it is more reliable, convenient and fast.

Following the interview or high school results assessment, you will receive either:-

  • An offer for placement on the programme of study of your choice
  • An offer for placement on an alternative programme in the same area of study
  • An offer to attend a further interview to explore alternative programmes available

  • Students Identity Card

    Two passport size colored photos will be required for the student‟s identity card. Those wishing to be members of the students‟ welfare will pay a separate fee determined by the welfare.

    Fees Payment

    Our preferred method of payment is by banker‟s draft drawn in Kenya shillings to Eldoret Aviation Training Institute sent to us in advance with the Application Form or presented personally on enrolment.

    Examination Results /Grades. Every candidate MUST be assessed through continuous assessment tests (CATS), theoretical, practical and project work and will be graded as follows:-

  • Pass with Distinction - Grade 1 and 2
  • Pass with Credit - Grade 3 and 4
  • Pass - Grade 5 and 6
  • Referral - Grade 7
  • Fail - Grade 8

  • International Students

    Applications from International Students are most welcome. We shall be happy to offer guidance on the choice of programme, accommodation, results equation, visa, foreign currency transfer etc.

    Students Union

    Membership of the union is open to all students of the Institute. The students union provides a student representative on the Academic Board thereby ensuring student views are made known at all levels in the institute.

    Throughout the course, students do work-based assignments, continuous and end of semester/ progress exams, continuous assessment tests (CATS) which account for 30% of the final score. Final examinations are taken at the end of every course and these accounts for 70% of the final score. Students are therefore advised to take exams seriously and should not miss any. However, there‟s a comprehensive policy that governs the examinations

    General Information

    EATI is located in Eldoret Town, which is about 315Kms from Nairobi the capital City of Kenya. In Eldoret, The Aviation Centre is situated at Teleview, opposite Shell Petrol Station along the Eldoret – Kapsabet Road. Practical lessons and Industrial Attachments are conducted at the Airports and organizations related to their area of studies. Reservations for courses are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. EATI reserves the right to change or cancel courses / fees under unavoidable circumstances.

    Tuition Fees

    The tuition fees are subject to revision. International students are charged 20% more that local students. Cancellation notice must be given to EATI at least two weeks before the course commencement date. In the event that EATI is not notified of the cancellation or the cancellation is made on or after the course commencement date, no refund will be given. Substitution of students may be granted subject to meeting the entry requirements and approval of EATI.

    Intake

    There are four semesters in any given year (each semester is at least 12 weeks). Students‟ intakes are in January, April/May, July, September and November. Please note that some courses have only two intakes in a year and places are given on the basis of first come first served. Our policy is to have small number of students per class in order to optimize on the teacher/students ratio. You are therefore advised to confirm your booking early

  • Accommodation / Transport

    The Institute does not provide accommodation or transport. Students have to make their own arrangements with some private students‟ hostels available in Eldoret. Students pay directly to the hostels. However, the Institute has identified some good and secure hostels, which they would be glad to recommend to any student/parent in need of such accommodation. Students have to arrange for their transportation to and from classes.

    5. It is important to fill in ALL the grades obtained in every subject in high school in order to determine your eligibility for the course of your interest. You will be asked to verify your results on the day of enrollment should you receive an admission letter, so honesty and integrity is appreciated at this stage.
