JOURNALISM

The course is designed for those who wish to work or are employed in mass media environment. The one-year course stresses on acquisition of all relevant information pertaining to mass media Knowledge, skills and attitudes. The course objectives and contents ensure that the students perform effectively at the fast growing Information Technology Sector. The pre-requisite is that students will be familiar with information Technology department of an organization and its Functions. However, students who have the commensurate computer experience and interest can undertake the course.

The course aims to produce graduates with practical skills and understanding of the information requirements of Industry. The students will be provided with knowledge and skill necessary to design, build, integrate and support the Information Technology (IT) Industry or achieve-self-employment in IT and consultancy.

    – Media Ethics & Regulations
    – English for Journalism & Writers
    (The ICM Certificate in Journalism is awarded on completion of all Part 1 subjects)

b) The Diploma in Journalism – Part 2

  • – Sub-Editing & Design
    – Digital TV & Radio Journalism
    – Magazine Journalism
    (The ICM Diploma in Journalism is awarded on completion of all Part 1 and 2 subjects)
